Zdravljenje visokega krvnega tlaka v Aku Energiji

Updated: Feb 28, 2021

V nadaljevanju bom predstavila dva primera uravnavanja visokega krvnega tlaka v moji ambulanti.

S postopkom čiščenja odstranimo strupe in odpadne snovi, s čimer zmanjšamo zamašitev in posledično znižamo krvni tlak.

Case studies of High Blood pressure treatment at Aku Energija

Many people are skeptical and doubtful about all kinds of healing method beside the conventional medicine because these medicine are not “scientific”. But if you actually check for the definition of “science”, here is what I find: the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

It is true that Traditional Chinese medicine do not follow the biochemical approach like modern medicine, and yet it is by no means any less systematic and practical. Case study is a crucial part in any medical advancement. Case reports and case series do not provide evidence with the same strength as more formal clinical or laboratory research. Randomized trials have maximal procedural guarantees against all kinds of biases; for that very reason, they are not set up for discovery. Case reports and series have large potential to stimulate new learning and new ideas. Without new ideas all advancement in medicine would cease.

In the following part, I will share 2 cases of High Blood Pressure management in my daily practice.

Case 1, male, in his 50s

This patient has a history of elevated liver enzyme and triglyceride but under observation for 2 years. Until recently his blood pressure is unstable so his doctor increase the dosage of medication, he decided to seek further help from us.

In the first consultation, it is noticeable that his tongue is pale and with mild purple colour. Also his pulse in weak in volume and the circulation is unsmooth. His blood pressure is >140/90 with increased dosage of medication.

After about one and a half month of herbal supplements for strengthening the vital energy and cleaning the Liver system, he had another blood test. His GGT is back to normal, ALT and AST level dropped nearly by half, also a mild decrease in triglyceride. One more month later, his blood pressure is around 120-130/70-75 but with decreased dosage of medication. Of course his treatment is not finished because there is still plenty of work to repair the deep level, it is nevertheless very encouraging result in such a short period of time.

Case 2, female, in her 50s

When she first visit TCM, she already have high blood pressure for 7 years. She visited us because of headache and pain behind the eyes. Even after medication, her blood pressure could still get elevated from time to time, around 146-160/100-110. When her chief complaint of headache is managed, she stopped TCM treatment. Blood pressure was 135-147/85-93.

A few months later, she came back because of lower back pain and side effects from cholesterol medication. She asked for management of cholesterol with TCM. Unlike the chemical medication with single active compound, TCM works in a comprehensive way for multiple targets. So even though she comes to work for cholesterol, her blood pressure improved over the time as well. Three month of herbal supplements, her BP was around 110-124/77-84. She stopped treatment for the second time.

She came back because of a cold, tiredness and dizziness a few month later. During that time her BP was around 110/80, sometimes even 100/70. It is actually too low. Because her pervious TCM treatment helped her to regulate some of the imbalance that causes hypertension, when she continues her chemical medication, the suppression effect is too strong. She should go back to her doctor and request for adjustment of dosage.

From time to time she still comes back for minor issues like a cold, hot flashes or lower back pain but her blood pressure is well controlled.

For the treatment part, both acupuncture and herbal supplements are used in her case. First we start with improving the general circulation so pain and sleep got better but it is not enough to improve the blood pressure. The second stage we moved on to purifying the Liver and Kidney system. These are the deep course of congestion that blocks normal circulation. Just like the pipes for water, when the it the blocked, the pressure goes up. Throughout the process of purifying, we remove the toxins and waste to reduce the blockage and thus blood pressure is lowered. But what really matters the most is the third phrase, to restore the function of the Liver and Kidney system. These systems work as a valve to regulate water flow and the pressure of the water pump so the body can self-regulate and stabilize the blood pressure as it should.

TCM + western medicine = the best combination?

I hope that my sharing could provide some new insights for the management for hypertension. Generally, even though TCM methods for hypertension do not work as quick as conventional methods, TCM methods have the advantages in improving hypertension related symptoms and general health. Since Chinese medicine focuses on holistic healthcare, in many instances, integrated treatment methods by using both Chinese and western medicine have had more favorable outcomes then using either alone. TCM methods can be incorporated as part of the hypertension management, and may even be the first line therapies for mild to moderate cases.
