8 nasvetov za zdravo ščitnico

Naša ščitnica je odgovorna za več stvari. Regulira naš metabolizem, telesno težo drži v mejah zdravega, proizvaja energijo, ohranja naše razpoloženje uravnovešeno in poleg tega tudi pomaga pri zagotavljanju zdravega nočnega spanca in zdrave prebave. V bistvu ščitnica igra vlogo pri skoraj vsakem fiziološkem procesu. Zato se lahko ob neoptimalnem delovanju v vašem življenju ustvari prava zmešnjava, zaradi česar se počutite povožene, stresirane, nesrečne ali nezdrave.

1. Izogibajte se goitrogenom v določenih zelenjavah Goitrogeni so kemične snovi, ki motijo telesno absorpcijo joda. Zato se izogibajte uživanju slednjih živil v surovi obliki: brokoli, zelje, cvetača, repa, arašidi, redkev, soja, špinača in kodrolistni ohrovt . Problem is, if cortisol is overused (from eating sugar daily), it suppresses the pituitary function, which in turn affects the function of the thyroid.

4. Drop the cell phone We already know about the connection between cell phones and brain tumors. But this little radiation machine that you hold up to your ear is awfully close to your thyroid gland as well. A good alternative is to get a headset to use while speaking on the phone.

5. Find ways to De-Stress and Detox Stress is one of the worst thyroid offenders. Most Slovenians are under chronic stress from work or family. The constant supply of stress chemicals, adrenaline and cortisol, produced by your adrenal glands interferes with thyroid hormones and leads to thyroid disease.
